Dump Stations on the Kenai
The Kenai Peninsula can be intimidating at times to RV'ers looking to find some of the needed services associated with camping from the family RV. One of those frustrating services to locate comes in the form of RV dump stations. They do seem few and far between but believe me, with the proper knowledge this services can be found.
Most of us are used to places like Walmart having these services for customers but in the case of the new Kenai Walmart, this service has been omitted. Why, your guess is as good as mine but I will be asking the next time I find myself in the Kenai Walmart.
Thank goodness, the Soldotna Fred Meyer store was thinking of us when they built their store. Not only do they have a conveniently located dump station but potable water as well. This only makes sense when so many travelers prefer to stay in their parking lots for easy access to shopping and the town in general. Be sure to thank them by patronizing their store when you are in town.

- Fred Meyer - Soldotna; located on the south side of the store behgind their fuel station.
- Quartz Creek Campground - Behind Sunrise Lodge on Kenai Lake near Cooper Landing.
- Hidden Lake Campground - Mile 3.5 of Skilak Lake Road.
- Holiday Gas Station - Corner of Kenai Spur and Bridge Access Road.
- Centennial Park Campground - Soldotna; Kalifornsky Beach Road across from the State Troopers.
